The health of women as caregivers, mothers, daughters and sisters is critical to thriving families and communities. With that in mind, Al Ain Hospital aims to ensure that all women have access to the tools they need to maintain and improve both their own health and that of their families.
Women are usually the healthcare decision-makers in the family so it is even more important that they are educated on the various health risks and most recent healthcare solutions.
The Women’s Institute of Al Ain Hospital uses all its interdisciplinary competence to provide the highest quality of care in the field of women’s health, and also to communicate essential healthcare knowledge to women and young mothers.
The Women’s Institute – along with its two departments, Gynaecology and Obstetrics and Labour and Delivery offer a wide scope of services that address every phase a woman experiences throughout her lifetime, from pre-reproductive care through to the child-bearing and post-menopausal years.
Al Ain Hospital is certified as a Baby-Friendly Hospital.
And our Women’s Institute works closely with the Neonatology Unit of the Children’s Institute to ensure that the highest quality care is provided for each mother and child at all times.
Promoting wellness for women in the community is also a key component of our mission, and we believe the health of a community begins with education. Our goal is to provide our patients with accessible healthcare information, whether through personal counselling or in our regular lectures and information days. We welcome your questions and feedback at any time.
