The mission of the Pharmacy Services Department is to provide the highest quality pharmaceutical services to our patients in line with the objectives and policies of the Health Authority of Abu Dhabi (HAAD).
The pharmacy at Al Ain Hospital serves two main areas of practice, dispensing medication and providing clinical pharmacy services. The Pharmacy employees are also responsible for evaluating drug utilisation, reporting any adverse drug reactions, and implementing Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), research, and patient education.
Our highly qualified clinical pharmacists carry out consultations for in-patients and monitor any reactions to medication.

The Pharmacy staff include the Head of the Pharmacy department, 15 pharmacists (including two clinical pharmacists and one drug control pharmacist), 21 pharmacy technicians and two clerks. Materials management and purchasing are controlled by the Head of the In-Patient Pharmacy and supervised by the Head of the Pharmacy Department. The highly motivated pharmacists and clinical pharmacists strive to provide excellent pharmaceutical care for all our patients.
