All casualties from road traffic accidents are managed by the Police Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Team based in Al Ain. This service also has an agreement with Al Ain Hospital’s Emergency Department regarding the retrieval of patients with non-emergency conditions and the management of maternity cases (women in labour)
Our 5 Ambulances manage the internal and external transfers of our patients – (critical and non-critical cases). This service is a collaborative effort between our Emergency Department medical and nursing staff (who provide clinical services for patients in the ambulance as well as ambulance dispatcher services) and the Transport Department. We also provide a specific Ambulance transport service for deceased patients, a collaborative effort between Al Ain Hospital and the Preventative Medicine Department.
